British Biscuit Injuries

More than half of all Britons have been injured by biscuits (cookies) according to a survey commissioned by a biscuit manufacturer. Dangers include scalding while dunking in a hot beverage, poking themselves in the eye, and fallen off a chair reaching for the tin.

about 25 million adults have been injured while eating during a tea or coffee break. almost a third of adults said they had been scalded by hot drinks while dunking their biscuit, 28 per cent had choked on crumbs, and one in 10 had broken a tooth or filling biting a biscuit.

Even more strangely, three per cent admitted to poking themselves in the eye with a biscuit and
seven per cent said they were bitten by a pet or "other wild animal" trying to get their biscuit.
